Ok, so this is quite a bit after the fact (by about....3 weeks) BUT!!  It's news worth telling here.

 

A few weeks ago we had our ward activity up on campus, and of course we had a few fun activities to do.  The first game was this weird one where we had to run across the room without getting hugged by some people.  I was one of the last 5 to make it, but got hugged by my traitorous roommate before the final final round  was over, but I still got a prize .  I just didn't have the energy to wrestle her so I could make it across.  Besides, I needed a hug ;o)

 

I didn't participate in the second game because it involved popping balloons, and I'm deathly afraid of balloons (especially when they pop).  So, I held out until the grand finale game of them all: TWISTER!!!!

 

They had gotten this mondo-huge twister board, and we had about 30 people on it to begin with, but we ended up folding it smaller as people got eliminated.  I was one of the last two standing, and I beat out my FHE dad Sean for the unofficial title of Twister Grand Champion.  Huzzah!!  Double huzzah, even!

 

My little Pocket Rocket even made a special appearance just to cheer me on to the end :o).  Oh, I feel so loved!  And I must say, it certainly was nice to have everyone who was there say hello to me the following week when they saw me on campus.  I felt like a minor celebrity....a TWISTER celebrity!   Oh, the joy of trivial recognition!
