I really need to learn to keep up with this thing better :P

Wow, May.  That was the last time I wrote on this thing....  A LOT has happened since then.  Let's start with the job: I got fired in July.  Yeah, totally sucks, but life goes on.  They said something about me not being a good fit for the company, but I think they were just getting rid of me to make room for somebody else.  Last one hired is the first one fired, as the saying goes.
I've since then gotten another job that pays significantly less and gives me about half the hours, so that's a huge blow to the pocket book.  Especially considering the fact that my expenses have near doubled, thanks to a program I got into to learn about creating an online business and real estate investment.  We'll see what the future brings.

Now on to the "love life": I went on my annual date last weekend.  It was a double with one friend of mine who is totally smitten with another friend, so I set them up and we doubled.  It felt more like hanging out than a real date, but it was alright.  You can't beat a night of Texas Hold 'Em poker, charades, and self defense ;o)

Other stuff: I had a good friend get married in Utah at the end of August so me and a couple of other friends took a ROAD TRIP!!! to go see her.  It was a lot of fun.  A lot of driving, too, but a lot of fun as well.  Pictures to come soon.
Pres. Uchtdorf of the Quorum of the 12 Apostles came to visit Texas YSA's early in September, and so I did another mini road trip to Fort Worth to hear him speak.  It was AWESOME!!!  1500 young single adults in one chapel...we were pretty squished, but it was worth it.  :o)

Most recently: I got a huge group to go to the Texas Renaissance Festival this year!  Huzzah!  I got my 25 and we get the discount price ;o)  I'm really excited to see how things turn out this year.  Ren Fest here I come! :D
